We are currently seeking Commercial Real Estate Lawyers to support our clients.
Responsibilities may include:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate contracts and agreements, which may include leases, purchase agreements, financing documents, and development deals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provision of clear and objective advice in relation to the management of contracts, including any disputes and litigation arising pursuant to them.
- Advise clients on complex real estate transactions and projects, providing strategic guidance on risk assessment, zoning and land use issues, environmental considerations, and other pertinent legal matters affecting property rights and interests.
- Maintain a solid understanding of Land Registry processes, SDLT requirements and the regulatory environment related to commercial property matters.
- Review and advise business colleagues on existing lease terms including in relation to rent reviews, lease renewals, easement renewals, dilapidations etc.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial real estate gained within a law firm or in-house environment.
- Demonstrable record of solid experience in commercial contract matters.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisation and time‐management skills are essential.
- Right to work in the UK and eligible to practice as a lawyer in the UK.
