Hybrid work (2 to 3 days per week onsite)

Rate: 450 - 500 GBP/Day inside IR35

On the Foundation Lead, they need to be able to code, have solid banking knowledge (i.e. understand terminology of corporate banking), and have experience in data sourcing, solving data integrity issues, and ideally be comfortable with calculations.

Join us as a Foundational Lead in Strategic Delivery. In this intellectually challenging role, you'll lead the design and development of the data management strategy to support delivery of change and transformation projects for Commercial and Institutional (C&I) balance sheet management.

You'll be responsible for defining other foundational components for C&I balance management change and transformation activities, including economic calculation and modelling. This is an opportunity for you to join a collaborative team, where you'll be liaising with different areas of the business to broaden your network and raise your profile in the bank.

What you'll do:

  • Play a key role in driving forward the strategic agenda for balance sheet management in C&I.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to C&I balance sheet management Investment programme, along with internal and external stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Build out a stakeholder network to support delivery of key outputs in line with agreed timelines.
  • Deliver key balance sheet management strategic Investment priorities.
  • Create and maintain internal governance for C&I balance sheet management tooling and processes.
  • Design and embed a control environment for foundational components across C&I balance sheet management.
  • Deliver project outcomes and services relating to foundational components for key C&I balance sheet management change and transformation projects.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across C&I balance sheet management tools and processes.

  • Experience working with data across many aspects of the bank, alongside excellent attention to detail.
  • A strong understanding of C&I balance sheet management principles.
  • Industry experience in a regulatory and commercial environment.
  • A background of working in teams engaged in relationship management or portfolio management activities.
  • The ability to multi-task across several key deliverables and demonstrate a forward planning proactive approach to work.
  • A comprehensive understanding of bank systems and processes.
  • The ability to apply a continuous improvement philosophy across multiple domains.
