Position: DevSecOps Engineer (Microservices/Backend Developer) – SC Cleared
Location: London, UK (Hybrid 2-3 days in a week to office)

Job Description

Seeking a talented and experienced DevSecOps Engineer with strong Microservices and Backend Development expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, cloud platforms, and DevOps principles, along with a solid understanding of secure software delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Back End services using Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Implement and promote DevOps and DevSecOps best practices across the development life cycle.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring secure and automated deployments.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable code along with robust JUnit test cases.
• Work on MySQL databases, ensuring efficient data design and performance optimisation.
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot applications on the AWS cloud platform.
• Participate actively in AGILE/Scrum ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
• Follow ITIL processes, including incident, problem and change management.
• Collaborate with cross–functional teams to ensure secure, scalable and high‑performing systems.

Your Profile

• 6‑10 Years of IT experience
• Strong experience with DevOps principles
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
• Strong experience writing JUnit test cases
• Good experience with MySQL database
• Good experience working with AWS platform
• Good exposure to ITIL processes including incident, problem and change management
• Good experience using AGILE methodology
• Good to have experience in Redhat Decision Manager and DMN Rules
• Good to have experience in Spark, Tableau and Hadoop
