We are currently seeking a professional and motivated Sales Executive to support the continued growth of our well established client based in Hackney, London. The role focuses on building long-term relationships with trade customers, promoting the company's extensive product range, and maximising repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact existing, lapsed, and prospective customers by telephone
- Promote and sell a range of products, including mouldings, mountboard, accessories, and equipment
- Identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Develop and manage a portfolio of trade accounts
- Encourage repeat orders and upsell new or higher-margin product ranges
- Accurately process customer orders and update internal systems
- Follow up on quotations, catalogues, and customer enquiries
- Maintain regular contact with customers to build strong, long-term relationships
- Work closely with internal teams, including warehouse and administration, to ensure efficient order fulfilment
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and stock availability
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with outbound sales calls
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Competent IT skills (email and order processing systems)
Desirable:
- Previous B2B or trade sales experience
- Experience in telesales, account management, or customer service
