Customer Care & Business Support Officer We’re looking for a Customer Care & Business Support Officer to deliver exceptional service to the public and provide vital administrative support to our recreation facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and wants to play a key role in the smooth running of community spaces. Key Responsibilities * Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries in person, by phone, email and online. * Manage facility bookings, process payments, and handle cancellations and refunds accurately. * Provide comprehensive administrative support, including record-keeping, data entry, preparing reports and managing correspondence. * Support marketing and promotional activities, including social media updates, campaign support and outreach. * Handle financial transactions securely, including cash, card and direct debit administration. * Liaise with site teams to support day-to-day operations, events and maintenance reporting. * Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including health and safety, data protection and customer service standards. * Contribute to community engagement initiatives and help drive increased participation in recreational activities. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a seamless service across multiple sites. What We’re Looking For * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Ability to work on your own initiative, prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure. * Proven experience delivering excellent customer service and handling challenging situations. * Confident handling cash and card transactions accurately. * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online systems. * Previous experience in customer service and administration (essential). * Experience with financial handling or community engagement is an advantage. * Understanding of health & safety practices. * A positive attitude, team focus and commitment to high standards of service.
