CNC Miller Turner Our client is a well-established specialist engineering company. They are looking for experienced CNC Miller Turners to join their team. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: * Machining small batch quantities of precision components from various materials. * Producing components using existing programs, tooling, and fixtures. * Program and engineer from scratch, new components using primarily online programming processes. * Ensure all first off components are to an acceptable standard. * Full knowledge of CNC workshop equipment, set, operate, and programme. * Liaising with Inspection Department to ensure that products produced are to the specifications required. * Ability to resolve queries and problems to best of knowledge before escalating up to next level. Ensure minimum occurrence of errors and provide workable solutions. * Responsible for adhering to health and safety rules and procedures. * Conducting assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner. * Present a positive attitude at all times and an adaptable approach to problems. * Liaising with machine shop management. * Ability to run multiple machining centres when required. * Perform in process inspection operations. Experience * Solid mechanical / engineering knowledge with indentured engineering apprenticeship, including the reading of engineering drawings and model requirements. * Machine control systems: Mazatrol, Fanuc & Heidenhain * Good verbal and written communication skills, at all levels * Numerical and literacy skills * Reliable and trustworthy * Flexible attitude and approach to work * Professional conduct displayed at all times * Ability to adhere to tight deadlines. * Ability to lift safe loads without assistance. * Positive attitude combined with a ‘common sense’ approach. * Ability to work well within a team, and as an individual. * Takes pride in self and work. In return for your expertise as a Miller Turner our client is offering a competitive salary which is negotiable according to your experience. Hours of work are: 39 hours per week, 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3.30pm Friday. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established & growing company.
