Account Director - Manufacturing/Distribution

We\’re seeking an enthusiastic Account Director to lead a key client account in Essex within Manufacturing and Distribution. This exciting role combines building strong client relationships, driving service excellence, and delivering growth. Responsibilities * Performance Management: Ensure contracts meet targets, resolve complaints and drive process improvements. * Customer Experience: Enhance client satisfaction through proactive solutions, cost efficiency and innovative services. * Commercial and Supply Chain Oversight: Manager Suppliers, control costs and support compliant contract procurement. * Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train and motivate teams while fostering growth and retention. * Efficiency & Compliance: Drive cost savings, track contract milestone and ensure regulatory compliance, including Health & Safety. Person Specification * Experience in a similar role within Manufacturing and Distribution. * Skilled in negotiation, meeting client needs, and senior-level reporting. * Strong knowledge of budgeting, performance management, and metrics. * Proficient in MS Office and relevant industry software. * Attention to detail. * IOSH & NEBOSH desired but not essential. * Excellent communication, relationship-building, organisational, and leadership skills.
