Middle Eight is a new, 180 room lifestyle luxury hotel with purpose in Covent Garden. Your role
You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests.
Responsibilities of Food and Beverage Supervisor will include but are not limited to:
- You will be expected to deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence.
- You will be required to play a vital role in leading and developing the team.
- Supervising, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team.
- To ensure all service standards are maintained throughout the breakfast operation.
- Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times.
- Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner.
- Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
- Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection.
- Communicating any guests’ questions on the menu, the length of wait and product availability with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, as well as any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the teams accordingly.

The Core Skills And Experience Required To Succeed
- Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
- Previous supervisory experience in a busy environment is preferred.
- Excellent personal presentation.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
