We are looking for an enthusiastic, service-driven, and detail-orientated Banquet Bar F&B Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the smooth operation of our conference and banqueting events, ensuring exceptional food & beverage service while delivering a high quality guest experience.

Your role:

We provide exceptional events and memorable dining experiences. As a Banquet Bar Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient bar and banquet service, supporting seamless event execution, and providing outstanding hospitality.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and preparing banquet spaces and bars for events, ensuring all equipment and stock are ready for service
  • Providing a high level of food and beverage service during banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events
  • Preparing and serving drinks at the banquet bar while maintaining responsible alcohol service standards
  • Ensuring all tables, buffets, and service areas are well-presented and replenished throughout events
  • Engaging with guests in a professional and friendly manner, anticipating and responding to their needs
  • Clearing tables, resetting banquet spaces, and assisting with post-event breakdown
  • Upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring all food and beverage handling complies with regulations

The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.

The core skills and experience required to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage, banquet, or bar role preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced event environment
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and basic bar operations is desirable
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexible to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
