Housekeeping Supervisor

Salary – £13.74 per hour

HGI Heathrow are looking for a positive, proactive, people focused person to join our Brighthearted housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Supervisor.

Reporting directly to the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel and assisting the Head Housekeeper with the running of the day-to-day housekeeping operation ensuring that all duties are allocated and covered and all rooms are checked to the highest standard. You will ensure that our guests are receiving an excellent guest experience.

Your role

Duties include:

• Provide support to the Head Housekeeper with the smooth running of the department.
• Using our systems to prepare schedules, room lists, report repairs and respond to guest feedback.
• Ensuring the hotel maintains brand standards through high levels of cleanliness.
• Coaching and supporting the team with training & development in areas of compliance such as Health & Safety, Fire Safety and COSHH
• Deliver and engage the team in the hotels brand standards, sustainability activities and goals.
• Participate in hotel wide initiatives and communications to ensure the whole team is informed about what is happening in the business.
• Keep and maintain an effective administration system for all compliance records

Our ideal candidate:

• Enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly character
• Previous experience within a housekeeping or cleaning role preferred.
• Possess a keen eye for details, ensuring standards are consistently met.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Willingness to learn new skills.
