Your role:

You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests. Responsibilities of Food and Beverage Supervisor will include but are not limited to:

  • Deputising for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence
  • Leading and developing the team
  • Supervising, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team
  • Ensuring all service standards are maintained throughout the breakfast operation
  • Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times
  • Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner
  • Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu
  • Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection
  • Communicating any guests’ questions on the menu, the length of wait and product availability with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams
  • Addressing any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the teams accordingly

You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.

The core skills and experience required to succeed:

  • Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry
  • Previous supervisory experience in a busy environment is preferred
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
  • Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach
