Personal enough to know your name. Connected enough to open every door.
Axiom Hospitality is one of the UK's fastest-growing hotel management companies, and we're not slowing down. In a few short years we've grown to over 40 hotels, partnering with some of the world's most recognised brands including Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Radisson. Through our partnership with Pyramid Global Hospitality, we're not only connected across the UK, but connected across the globe.
That growth means something real for you. We have a strong track record of promoting from within, and the people who join us now grow with us. For the right person, this is a chance to build your HR career with a business that's going places.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're thrilled to be opening two brand-new hotels in Dublin in May 2027, another exciting step in growing our presence in the Republic of Ireland. To support the people function across both hotels, we're now recruiting an Assistant People & Culture Manager.
The cluster brings together Courtyard by Marriott Dublin (252 rooms) and Residence Inn Dublin (222 rooms), two of Marriott's most trusted brands.
Reporting to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the Cluster People & Culture Manager, you'll be at the heart of building two hotel teams from the ground up.
YOUR ROLE
You'll support the people agenda across both hotels through pre-opening, one of the most rewarding stages in any hotel's life, and on into successful operation. You'll:
- Support the pre-opening recruitment campaign, coordinating job adverts, screening, interview scheduling, assessment days and offers
- Deliver a smooth, welcoming onboarding experience, from contracts and right-to-work checks to first-day readiness
- Coordinate and deliver induction programmes that bring Axiom's values and Marriott's brand standards to life for every new colleague
- Keep the people function running smoothly, maintaining accurate colleague records, HR systems and documentation
- Support managers with employee relations matters, including preparing paperwork, taking notes at meetings and advising on policy and process, escalating to the Cluster People & Culture Manager where needed
- Help track training and development, keeping records up to date and supporting the rollout of learning programmes
- Support engagement, recognition and wellbeing initiatives that make both hotels great places to work
- Prepare and process monthly payroll inputs, including starters, leavers and changes, accurately and on time
- Be a friendly, approachable first point of contact for colleagues on people matters
WHO WE'RE LOOKING TO MEET
We'd love to hear from HR professionals ready for their next step, who bring:
- Experience in an HR role within a hotel or hospitality environment, ideally with a branded or Marriott property
- Experience supporting high-volume recruitment and onboarding
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with confidence handling HR admin and payroll inputs
- A working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, ideally Irish employment law
- Some exposure to employee relations cases, and the discretion that goes with them
- A CIPD qualification (or equivalent), or currently working towards one
- A people-first approach that balances the needs of the business with genuine care for colleagues
- Pre-opening experience and knowledge of the Dublin labour market would be a real advantage
