We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant with a strong background in the insurance industry to support and lead transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience driving user adoption, training, and communication strategies, while providing consulting expertise in insurance operations. This role bridges the gap between business transformation and technology enablement, particularly within modern insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive OCM strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, training, and resistance management.
- Conduct change impact assessments and readiness evaluations to support large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Serve as a business advisor for insurance operations workflows and best practices across underwriting, billing, claims, policy administration, or risk management.
- Analyze business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Create and deliver engaging communications, training materials, and workshops tailored to business users.
- Identify change risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support organizational alignment during transitions to new core systems and digital platforms.
- Stay updated on trends, technologies, and best practices in the insurance sector and share insights with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree, MBA, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Organizational Change Management with demonstrated project leadership.
- Strong background in insurance consulting within domains such as underwriting, billing, claims, policy administration, or risk management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, PROSCI).
- Proven track record in business transformation and technology adoption initiatives.
- Solid understanding of insurance operations, regulations, and emerging industry trends.
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- Experience with insurance core systems such as Duck Creek, Guidewire, or Majesco.
- Familiarity with CRM or contact center technologies (Microsoft Dynamics 365, NICE CXone, NICE inContact).
- Prior experience in Agile or SAFe environments.
- Certification in Change Management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP).
