The salary banding for this role starts from £77,000 upwards, based on experience.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will direct the delivery of large, complex, and high-risk digital initiatives or programmes, often spanning multiple teams, suppliers, and organisational boundaries. You will provide leadership across delivery, governance, financial control, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring outcomes are delivered at pace while managing significant complexity.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, shaping delivery approaches, providing assurance, and influencing senior stakeholders to resolve systemic challenges. You will be accountable for delivery performance at programme level, including managing interdependencies, escalating risks, and ensuring alignment with organisational strategy.
In this role, you are expected to act as a senior delivery authority, mentoring other delivery managers and contributing to the continuous improvement of delivery capability across the organisation. There is a requirement to be onsite in our central Leeds office 1 to 2 times a week. This can be discussed with your manager for full flexibility and can be restructured to best suit your needs, as well as some travel to client site (specific to client needs and requirements).

- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex digital change initiatives or programmes, often involving multiple teams, suppliers or organisational areas, as a Senior Project or Agile Delivery Manager.
- A strong track record of delivering complex, product-centric digital services using user-centred and iterative approaches.
- Experience leading and governing multiple delivery teams with mature DevSecOps and continuous delivery practices.
- Accountability for major delivery outcomes, including financial control, risk management, and benefit realisation.
- Deep knowledge of agile and lean delivery practices, with the ability to tailor them to complex, hybrid environments, navigating through ambiguity, managing interdependencies and providing assurance on delivery performance.
- Strong experience managing multiple delivery partners, including commercial and operational oversight.
- Confident ownership of programme-level financial management within complex organisations.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and providing clear delivery leadership under pressure.
- The ability to mentor and support other delivery managers, strengthening delivery capability across the organisation.
- Preferable experience of working in a consultancy firm.
- Preferable experience of working in policy-led environments and dealing with demanding stakeholders.
