We're looking for a Site Waste Coordinator to join our team at KTC Wednesbury. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in ensuring waste operations are managed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards while delivering excellent service to our customer.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Site Waste Coordinator, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day waste management activities across the site, ensuring waste is processed safely, efficiently, and in line with customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily site waste operations and ensuring waste areas are serviced and maintained.
  • Coordinating waste collections and exchanges with internal teams and service providers.
  • Building positive relationships with site stakeholders and providing regular updates.
  • Ensuring all waste streams are correctly segregated, processed, and stored.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across waste management areas.
  • Supporting health and safety compliance, site procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Conducting routine inspections of waste drop zones and storage areas.
  • Completing administrative duties including document scanning, reporting, and email communication.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Operating a forklift truck when required (training can be provided where appropriate).

  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Basic administrative and computer skills.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Forklift Truck experience or willingness to be trained.
  • A positive, flexible, and team‑oriented attitude.
