A leading global data and cloud technology company is looking for a Senior Field Marketing Manager to join its UK & Ireland team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role focuses on driving growth and brand awareness within the Public Sector vertical across the UK, supporting organisations across government, healthcare, and education.
The successful candidate will design and execute high-impact field marketing programs tailored to the specific needs of public sector organisations. The role will focus on generating pipeline, supporting sales engagement, and navigating the unique procurement landscape within the public sector. This is a fast-paced and collaborative role, requiring close partnership with regional sales teams, sales development, and wider marketing stakeholders across Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Field Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan supporting Public Sector sales teams across the UK & Ireland.
- Deliver a mix of third-party industry conferences, company-led event series, and targeted public sector field events.
- Manage logistics and execution of all events, including vendor coordination, inventory management, and sales team alignment.
- Shape event themes and messaging relevant to public sector audiences.
- Partnership & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with alliances and partner marketing teams to support sponsorships and joint go-to-market initiatives within the public sector ecosystem.
- Maintain strong alignment with the Public Sector sales team on campaign messaging, pre- and post-event communications, and event promotion strategies.
- Campaign Performance & Optimisation
- Measure and evaluate the impact and ROI of regional marketing campaigns.
- Identify the most effective marketing channels, materials, and messaging for key public sector accounts.
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns within a dedicated vertical budget.
- Manage project timelines while maintaining high brand and quality standards.
- Define and track KPIs focused on pipeline generation and deal acceleration.
- Act as the key liaison between public sector sales leadership and the wider marketing organisation.
- Represent the organisation professionally when working with external vendors, government stakeholders, and industry bodies.
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience in enterprise software or SaaS environments.
- Experience marketing to the Public Sector / Government is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proven project management and campaign execution experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale field marketing campaigns, events, and executive programs.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to anticipate sales team needs.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland to support events (approximately 1–2 times per quarter).
