An opportunity has arisen at a Stoke‑on‑Trent based cylinder re‑test facility for a Plant Operator / Cylinder Test Operator to join a well‑established industrial operation. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background who enjoys hands‑on, quality‑focused work in a safety‑critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cylinder, valve and pack inspection
- Refurbishment and re‑validation of industrial and integrated products
- Maintaining a strong awareness of Health & Safety requirements
- Fault inspection, reporting and escalation
- Flexibility to support other operational duties when required
About You
You will have:
- A minimum of City & Guilds in a mechanical discipline or NVQ equivalent (mandatory)
- A proactive, can‑do attitude and ability to work on your own initiative
- A positive, energetic and reliable approach to work
- A strong desire to learn and develop
- A forklift truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
