We are seeking dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our clients very busy logistics team. The ideal candidates will possess strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. Responsibilities
- Operate lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and complete necessary paperwork for each delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional during interactions with clients.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with tail lift vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 30 kg) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading goods.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
