We are looking for class 1 drivers for ongoing tramping for my client in Linwood. This will be ongoing work with long hours.

HGV Class 1 Tramper Duties

• Operate a lorry to transport goods to various locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing it appropriately for transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

HGV Class 1 Tramper Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role,
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and securing loads.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining delivery records.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A commitment to safety and professionalism on the road at all times.
