We are seeking dedicated and efficient FLT Drivers and Warehouse Operators for a prestigious new client in Cumbernauld. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, using appropriate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct materials handling duties, including sorting and storing products in designated locations.
- Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Utilise a warehouse management system for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks as required while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes, with knowledge of warehouse management systems being advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for inventory counting and record keeping.
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment repair tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is required for FLT positions.
