Asbestos Removal Operatives (Cat B) Demolition Glasgow City Centre

Axfar Recruitment is hiring experiencedCat B (Non-Licensed) Asbestos Removal Operativesfor a majordemolitionproject inGlasgow City Centre. This is a long-term placement with immediate starts for the right candidates.

What youll do

  • Carry outnon-licensed (Cat B)asbestos removal and soft-strip works within a live demolition environment
  • Segregation, waste handling, bagging and transit routes in line withHSEguidance and RAMS
  • Set-up and maintain controlled work areas; support decontamination procedures
  • Work collaboratively with site supervisors, air testing teams and demolition crews
  • Complete job sheets and daily safety checks

What youll need

  • Valid Cat B (Non-Licensed) Asbestostraining certificate (UKATA/BOHS or equivalent)
  • Face-Fit (FFP3) certificateand recentasbestos medical(preferred)
  • CSCS/CCDOcard (preferred)
  • Previous experience ondemolition/soft-stripprojects
  • Full PPE/RPE standards and a strong safety record
  • Right to work in the UKandcheckable references
