Axfar Recruitment is hiring experiencedCat B (Non-Licensed) Asbestos Removal Operativesfor a majordemolitionproject inGlasgow City Centre. This is a long-term placement with immediate starts for the right candidates.
What youll do
- Carry outnon-licensed (Cat B)asbestos removal and soft-strip works within a live demolition environment
- Segregation, waste handling, bagging and transit routes in line withHSEguidance and RAMS
- Set-up and maintain controlled work areas; support decontamination procedures
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, air testing teams and demolition crews
- Complete job sheets and daily safety checks
What youll need
- Valid Cat B (Non-Licensed) Asbestostraining certificate (UKATA/BOHS or equivalent)
- Face-Fit (FFP3) certificateand recentasbestos medical(preferred)
- CSCS/CCDOcard (preferred)
- Previous experience ondemolition/soft-stripprojects
- Full PPE/RPE standards and a strong safety record
- Right to work in the UKandcheckable references
