About the job
- Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Provide end-to-end deliverables of a project, based on their scale, complexity, technical challenge, schedule and/or innovation, with safety and quality as a priority.
- Manage project control structure, project budget, risks and opportunities to achieve agreed profit margin and KPI targets, with monthly reporting for accruals and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, company business strategy, company management system, the UK PM Checklist, while maintaining all project records to a high standard.
- Contribute to global tenders and business proposals where required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, while identifying potential new business opportunities.
- Support the Operations Manager, PM team members, and the wider company team as required.
- Attend and participate in daily PM meetings, weekly Team Ops meetings, monthly Accruals & Forecast meetings and Audits (where required).
- Work collaboratively with clients, team members and wider Group colleagues, with an approachable, inclusive and knowledgeable attitude.
- Attend industry events as appropriate.
- In line with the WE values of the Axess Group, input into the achievement the goal of ZERO damage within Axess North Sea.
- Understand and implement the company HSSEQ policy.
What you’ll bring
- A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience as a Project Manager/Senior Project Role, with a track record of developing and delivering successful projects while meeting KPIs and business strategy requirements.
- A Project Management degree or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrable expertise in project management techniques and practices.
- A background/experience in inspections, NDT, rope access and lifting gear.
- A strong command of written and spoken English.
- An ability to work collaboratively with others, use influencing and good communication skills at all levels.
- Skills to translate business needs into effective project management and wider business opportunities for our company.
