Office Manager for Senior Citizen's Opportunity for Personal Endeavors (SCOPE), Warren, OH. Part-time, 20-29 hours/week, $11/hour.

SCHEDULE: Determined on a case by case basis.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Assists the Director in the oversight of general operation and bookkeeping as well as the upkeep of all facilities and programs, including policies, procedures, staffing and quality assurance.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of program goals and objectives; ensures the quality of service delivery to the community through program and financial monitoring.
  • Assists with staff development and training.
  • Handles the financial paperwork aspects of SCOPE’s check requests, deposits, grants, donations, etc.
  • Assists with the maintaining of program buildings, equipment, supplies, and grounds.
  • Handles the reporting needed as required by funders.
  • Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as a team member, model open communication, fair and equitable treatment, and manage conflicts.
  • Experience in effective office management, computers and software systems.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable.
  • Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Experience working with older adults preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to hear and talk on the phone and/or face to face interaction required.
  • Ability to see to work on computers and reports.
  • Ability to travel to other offices to meet client and agency needs.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and load objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
