Axel Monroe are delighted to be exclusively partnering a mid‑sized international manufacturing/engineering group in their search for a Group FP&A Lead for a 12 month contract, commencing in February. The role carries full accountability for Group FP&A across a business with c.£100m+ turnover and a geographically diverse operating footprint. Operating within a lean group structure, this is a senior, stand‑alone position requiring both strategic oversight and hands‑on execution. Reporting into the Group Head of Finance, this role will significantly contribute directly to executive-level discussions and decision-making.
Some of the key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ownership of group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes
- Development and maintenance of strategic and long-range financial models
- Delivery of high-quality performance analysis, insight, and board-level reporting
- Acting as a key business partner to senior leadership on financial planning and decision support
The successful individual will be an experienced FP&A leader with:
- Strong group-level FP&A experience, with prior exposure to the manufacturing/engineering space
- The credibility, and proven ability, to operate autonomously within a lean function
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach suited to an interim assignment
This role will be London‑based, with a regular on‑site presence required. On offer is a base salary of between £100-110k (dependent on experience). The process will run across January/February with an expected start date of Late Feb.
