We are looking for an ambitious Sales Executive / Business Development Executive to join our market-leading, global business! We are going through an exciting period of growth so this is a newly created role in Axco's sales team and we are looking for a target oriented, driven individual to join us.

Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities
Join Axco's growing sales team and take the lead on promoting our market-leading products & services to potential new clients as well as engaging with our existing client base. You will play a pivotal role at Axco in acquiring new clients and building a quality sales pipeline.
Responsibilities of the role include, but aren’t limited to:
- Developing a deep understanding of Axco's products to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits.
- Working with our Commercial Team to identify new business development opportunities.
- Identifying target job titles and key contacts all relevant to the Axco proposition.
- Generating new business leads via emails, social media & cold calling and scheduling in discovery calls for our BDMs.
- Achieving weekly & monthly targets.
- Cleansing & maintaining Axco's CRM.
- Managing all relevant internal & external stakeholders.
Essential and desirable capabilities
We always support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful in this job you really do need to already be able to tick most of these boxes:
- Successful B2B sales/ business development experience.
- Research experience gained either through employment or studying.
- Experience of cold-calling and lead generation from your own research.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- A commercial awareness and the ability to apply oneself analytically.
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability & drive to develop your professional network.
- The ability to multitask & prioritise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce.
You are goal orientated, planning focused and you enjoy influencing and persuading others through delivering messaging in a motivational personalised manner to your target audience. You are sociable and a fantastic relationship builder who has outstanding verbal communication skills and uses empathy to understand and relate to others. You are resilient and adapt to change with ease.
