Year 6 General Teaching Assistant – PR1 Location: PR1 Position: Year 6 General Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-time (Monday-Friday) (start asap/after Christmas) Salary: From £93-£100 per day, depending on experience.
Axcis Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Year 6 General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in the PR1 area. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a school with a fantastic support network, where staff work collaboratively to help pupils achieve their full potential during this important stage of their education.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 6.
- Confidence supporting pupils both in class and in small group interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service (essential). If you do not have one, we can help you obtain one.
