The Role

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to support high-quality teaching and learning across the school. You will take responsibility for leading groups, delivering planned lessons, and providing targeted interventions to help pupils reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about education and confident in leading learning. You will:

  • Hold HLTA status or have significant experience working at a higher level within a primary school setting
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Be confident delivering lessons and leading learning independently
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Have a proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
