We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive college in Uxbridge from September. This rewarding role involves supporting learners with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), helping them access education, develop independence and achieve their individual goals within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Working Hours: 08:45 β 16:30 (hours may vary depending on the timetable) 4β5 days per week
The Role:
- Supporting learners with PMLD on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Assisting with personal care and mobility where required
- Encouraging communication, engagement and independence
- Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to meet learners' individual needs
- Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting individuals with PMLD, SEND or complex needs
- Patient, caring and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
