  • Assist with personal care where required, ensuring dignity, safety, and respect at all times.
  • Work alongside teachers and the SEN team to implement personalised learning strategies.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in lessons and school activities.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly complex needs.
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach to supporting students.
  • Confidence in assisting with personal care duties when required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Why Apply?

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a specialist SEND setting.
  • Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities available.
  • Supportive and welcoming school environment.
  • Valuable experience working with secondary-aged students with complex needs.
  • Potential for long-term and permanent opportunities.
