PE Teacher β Ad-Hoc Supply in Cheam, Sutton We are currently recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic PE Teacher to support a welcoming primary school within the LEO Academy Trust, based in Cheam, Sutton. The school is looking for a PE Teacher who is available for ad-hoc supply days, providing cover when required. This could be a great opportunity for a teacher looking for flexible supply work, with the potential for the role to develop into a longer-term or full-time position depending on the school's requirements and the right fit. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for PE and enjoy creating engaging, inclusive lessons that encourage pupils to develop their physical skills, confidence and enjoyment of sport.
Role
- Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across the primary age range.
- Teach a range of physical activities and sports.
- Adapt activities to suit different ages, abilities and needs.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, teamwork and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
- Maintain a safe, positive and well-managed learning environment.
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations.
- Work alongside class teachers and wider school staff.
- Follow lesson plans and school expectations when providing supply cover.

Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching PE within a UK primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of primary PE.
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage pupils across different age groups.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for sport and physical education.
- Flexibility and reliability when working on a supply basis.
