Primary Supply Teacher Job in Cheam, Sutton We are currently recruiting for a Primary Supply Teacher to support a lovely and welcoming primary school within the LEO Academy Trust in Cheam, Sutton. This is an ad-hoc supply teaching opportunity, with weekly day-to-day shifts available depending on the school's requirements and your availability. The school is happy to consider teachers who are confident teaching across KS1 and KS2, making this a great option for teachers looking for flexible primary supply work. The Role

  • Provide day-to-day classroom cover across KS1 and KS2
  • Deliver engaging lessons following the school's plans and curriculum

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different pupils
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school
  • Confident teaching across KS1 and/or KS2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to different classrooms and year groups
  • Comfortable using Google Classroom or willing to learn
  • Passion for primary education and supporting pupils to succeed
  • Reliable and flexible approach to supply teaching
