Axcis Education is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a specialist all-through SEMH school in Yeovil. This Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to support children and young people aged across both primary and secondary phases who require additional support with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an important part of the school's wider support network, helping pupils overcome barriers to education and develop the skills needed to succeed. The successful Teaching Assistant will work with learners who may have experienced challenges that impact their engagement in school, requiring a patient, understanding, and consistent approach.
This Teaching Assistant position is ideal for candidates who enjoy building positive relationships and supporting pupils to make progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Working alongside teaching staff to support pupils throughout the school day
- Delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions as a Teaching Assistant

The Successful Teaching Assistant Will Have:

- Confidence working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and other professionals
