About the Role:
As a Flexible Teaching Assistant, you'll work in different schools supporting teachers and helping students to get the most from their education. No two days are the same – one day you may be supporting a small group in a classroom, while the next you could be providing 1:1 support to a student who needs extra encouragement.
You will play an important role in helping create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, engaged, and able to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in lessons on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks
- Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged
- Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Adapt to different school environments and age groups
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Who We're Looking For:
- Friendly, reliable, and adaptable individuals
- Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to get involved
- Confidence working in new environments and meeting new people
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential as you'll be travelling between different schools
