Axcis Education are working closely to support mainstream secondary school in Newton Abbot, who require a full time SENDco from after October Half Term, 2026. The hours are 8.30-16.00, and the rate of pay will be between £175-£220 a day, depending on your teaching experience and qualifications.

- Salary: Paid against Main Pay Scale for Qualified for Unqualified Teachers (Daily Equivalent)
- Potential: Long-term opportunity with possible potential to become full-time and permanent
Requirements
- Experience working as a SENDco or a SENDco Assistant.
- Experience in drafting, amending and reviewing EHCPs
- Overseeing SEND provision across the school
- Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students
- SENDco qualifications would be desirable but not essential.
