SEND Teaching Assistant, Midday Support | Sutton, South London | Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 2pm | November 2026
Axcis Education is recruiting a caring and dependable Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Sutton, supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs over the lunchtime period. This rewarding role involves supervising and supporting pupils during lunch and playtimes, encouraging positive social interactions, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils. Personal care responsibilities are required.
Weโre looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, care, or SEND settings
- A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid Child and Adult DBS, or willingness to obtain one
