Location: Sandwell Area Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience Start Date: ASAP We’re looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary SEN school in West Bromwich You’ll be supporting children aged 4–11 with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Every child’s journey is different—and we celebrate that. If you\’re ready to make a real difference in young lives, we’d love to hear from you. What the Role Involves: • Working 1:1 or in small groups to help children access learning and build essential skills. • Supporting behaviour, communication, sensory needs, and emotional regulation. • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and patience to deliver high-quality support. • Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Who We’re Looking For: • Someone with experience supporting children with SEND—ideally in a school or early years setting. • A positive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • A patient and calm approach supporting pupils with diverse and various needs. • Confidence in building strong, trusting relationships with young learners. Essential Requirements: • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one). • Two recent and relevant references. • A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to continuous learning.
