Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Ormskirk. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate educator looking to make a lasting impact on pupils during a crucial stage of their primary education. The successful candidate will initially join the school on a temp to perm basis, working a set number of weeks through Axcis before joining the school on a permanent contract.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils for SATs while maintaining a positive and inspiring learning environment.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Have a sound understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupils' individual needs.
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Contract & Working Hours
This is a temporary position, unless stated otherwise. It is an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate educator, initially temp to perm basis; upon completion join on a permanent contract.
Salary & Pay
Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience. You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
