Axcis Education is working in partnership with a specialist secondary school in South Gloucestershire to recruit a passionate and committed Maths Teacher for a September start. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with additional needs. The school provides a nurturing, therapeutic environment for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, and associated learning differences. Class sizes are small, allowing teachers to build meaningful relationships and tailor learning to each student's individual strengths.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Be confident adapting lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils through consistency, patience and high expectations.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
