We are currently working with a well-regarded SEND college in Hounslow seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join their team from September on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, supporting students with a range of additional needs including autism, speech and communication difficulties, and complex learning needs within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy support to students aged 16–25
- Assess, plan, and implement tailored intervention programmes
- Work closely with teaching staff, support staff, and external professionals
- Support the development of communication strategies across the curriculum
- Contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
Requirements:
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered or pending)
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND
- Strong understanding of communication needs, including ASD
- Collaborative and flexible approach to working within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
