Axcis Education is currently searching for a special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. Axcis Education is working on behalf of schools in the Herefordshire area for a range of long-term and short-term roles. We are currently searching for a long-term placement in a Primary school, Monday to Friday 8:30-4pm during term time only, with a September 3rd start date.

You would be working in a 1 form entry Primary school, working 1:1 with a student in year 5 that requires support in and out of the classroom. Your role would include:

  • Sitting in class keeping them on task
  • Supervising lunch and break times
  • Supporting with extracurricular activities

You may be asked to attend additional meetings/parent evenings for your input on the child's development. This is a great opportunity for someone who is really looking to make a difference to this child’s final years at primary school. We are looking for someone with experience working with children, potentially in a support-based role or alternative care.
