The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND, including Autism and communication needs.
  • Assist with personalised learning plans and classroom activities.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENDCo, and the wider specialist provision team.

Requirements

  • Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEND Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant (essential).
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Autism, SEND, and SEMH needs.
  • Be patient, resilient, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Have excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
