Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Pay: £150–£190 per day PAYE, depending on experience
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and routines.
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum expectations.
- Use assessment and feedback to help pupils achieve their potential.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Previous experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed approach to teaching.
