Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Camberwell, Southwark London? We are working with a supportive and inclusive school seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEND). This is a hands-on role, where you will support students both academically and with personal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Support students with needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
