Axcis Education are working closely to support a well-regarded Secondary SEMH Provision in Torbay, who require a full time permanent (temp to perm) Key Stage 3 Teacher, for their Year 8 cohort, from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a nurturing, inclusive environment and is committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people with additional needs.
- Days: Monday to Friday (Full Time)
- Location: Torbay, Devon
- Setting: Secondary SEMH Provision in Torbay
- Salary: Paid against Main Pay Scale for Qualified or Unqualified Teachers (Daily Equivalent)
- Type of Role: Temp to Perm
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ADHD
- Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students
- Confidence in managing behaviour and delivering learning in a creative, flexible way
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience as a Cover Supervisor in a similar environment is highly desirable
