We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) to join a specialist school in the Torbay area.
About the Role:
- Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and engage positively with school life.
- Supporting students with SEMH on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assisting with classroom activities and learning tasks.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development.
- Helping to create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.
About the School:
- The school supports students aged 11–16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education.
- All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Information:
- Pay: £92.50–£100 per day.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
- Position: Temp to perm.
- Start Date: ASAP.
