We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) to join a specialist school in the Torbay area.

About the Role:

  • Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and engage positively with school life.
  • Supporting students with SEMH on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
  • Assisting with classroom activities and learning tasks.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development.
  • Helping to create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.

About the School:

  • The school supports students aged 11–16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education.
  • All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Information:

  • Pay: £92.50–£100 per day.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
  • Position: Temp to perm.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
