We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, proactive, and committed Graduate Teaching Assistants and Student Support Assistants to work across a variety of educational settings, including: Mainstream Primary Schools, Mainstream Secondary Schools, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Schools. These roles are primarily full‑time (08:30–15:30); however, part‑time arrangements will be considered for the right candidates. This flexibility allows you to gain invaluable experience while balancing your academic commitments where needed.

The Role


As a Graduate Teaching Assistant or Student Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to support pupils with a range of learning needs.


Responsibilities



  • Supporting classroom learning under teacher guidance

  • Delivering targeted interventions in subjects such as English and Maths

  • Assisting pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language needs

  • Supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs

  • Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence

  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment


Requirements



  • Currently enrolled at university (all years welcome)

  • Availability between 08:30–15:30

  • Experience working with children or young people (voluntary or professional)

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A patient, proactive, and positive approach


Salary


£94-£100 per day
