As a School Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to help pupils feel supported, engaged, and ready to learn. You may provide one-to-one assistance, support small groups, or help students with SEND, SEMH needs, behaviour, emotional regulation, or learning challenges.
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Help students access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Build trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team.
We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including care, youth work, residential childcare, coaching, mentoring, volunteering, SEND support, and behaviour support. Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential.
