Axcis Education is recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to work as Teaching Assistants in Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across Bath. Whether you’re looking to gain experience alongside your studies or build a career working with children, this role offers valuable hands-on experience in education.
You’ll support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Every day is different, and you’ll play a key role in helping children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

- Students and graduates from the University of Bath or Bath Spa University
- Individuals studying Psychology, Education, Criminology, Health & Social Care, Sport, Childhood Studies, or related subjects
- People with previous experience working with children, whether through volunteering, coaching, tutoring, childcare, youth work, or support work
- Candidates who are patient, reliable, and keen to make a positive impact
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable, as some of the schools we work with are located in rural areas around Bath and can be difficult to access using public transport alone.
