This Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils who require additional help with their emotional wellbeing, behaviour, communication and learning. The school caters for children with social, emotional and mental health needs. Every day as a Teaching Assistant will bring new opportunities to help pupils grow in confidence, develop positive relationships and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Duties of the Teaching Assistant:
- Delivering tailored support to pupils throughout the school day
- Assisting children to remain focused and engaged during lessons
- Helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
- Supporting the development of social skills and positive peer interactions
- Encouraging emotional regulation and positive choices
